PRINCE2® Certification Training

PRINCE2® (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a generic project management framework suitable for managing ANY type of project in any industry. PRINCE2® is managed by AXELOS® (Owned by PEOPLECERT® ).  It is established and proven best practice in project management. EPMC (World of Agile) is accredited training organisation by AXELOS & PEOPLECERT® for  providing PRINCE2 training and conducting examination.

PRINCE2® is a globally recognized Project Management method developed by the Cabinet Office UK.
PRINCE2®’s stands for Projects in Controlled Environment.
PRINCE2® is a flexible Project management method that guides you through the essentials for managing successful projects, regardless of it’s scale & type.
It is built upon seven principles, themes and processes. PRINCE2® can be tailored to meet your project’s varied or specific requirements.

There are two levels of certifications for PRINCE2®:

Level 1 – PRINCE2® Foundation:

Level Foundation is designed for individuals who are new to PRINCE2 and are working in or around PRINCE2.

Level 2 – PRINCE2® Practitioner:

This level is designed for those who are already certified in either PRINCE2 or PRINCE2 Agile Foundation levels.

PRINCE2 has 2 certification options:

PRINCE2® Practitioner Edition 6 is the second level of the examination and certification. Purpose of this certification  is to assess Practitioners who have sufficient knowledge and understanding to implement and tailor the methodology in a range of different project environments and scenarios.

  • PRINCE2® Edition 6 Foundation

  • PRINCE2® Edition 6 Practitioner

The PRINCE2® Agile certification blends the proven methodology of PRINCE2®, with the flexibility and responsiveness of Agile. PRINCE2® Agile was created to offer the governance of PRINCE2®, while at the same time addressing the needs of volatile project environments which are best handled using the collaborative, iterative approach of Agile.

  • PRINCE2® Agile Foundation

  • PRINCE2® Agile Practitioner

  • The purpose of the Prince2 Foundation qualification is to confirm that a candidate has sufficient knowledge and understanding of the PRINCE2 ® method to be able to work effectively with, or as a member of, a Project Management team working within an environment supporting PRINCE2 ® and PRINCE2 certification is very important for this. The Foundation qualification is also a pre-requisite for the Practitioner qualification.
  • This qualification is aimed at project managers and aspiring project managers. It is also relevant to other key staff involved in the design, development and delivery of projects.
  • There is no Pre-requisite for appearing for PRINCE2 foundation certifiation. Any one who wishes or wants to gain more understanding of PRINCE2 Concepts can opt for PRINCE2 Foundation Level certification.
  • You can appear for Foundation Certifiation with 2 options as below:
    • PRINCE2 Agile Foundation
    • Or
    • PRINCE2 Foundation 6th Edition
  • The purpose of the Prince2 Practitioner qualification is to confirm whether the candidate has achieved sufficient understanding of how to apply and tailor PRINCE2® in a scenario situation. A successful Practitioner candidate should, with suitable direction, be able to start applying the method to a real project but may not be sufficiently skilled to do this appropriately for all situations. Their individual project management expertise, complexity of the project and the support provided for the use of PRINCE2® in their work environment will all be factors that impact what the Practitioner can achieve.
  • This qualification is aimed at project managers and aspiring project managers. It is also relevant to other key staff involved in the design, development and delivery of projects, including: Project Board members (e.g. Senior Responsible Owners), Team Managers (e.g. Product Delivery Managers), Project Assurance (e.g. Business Change Analysts), Project Support (e.g. Project and Programme Office personnel) and operational line managers/staff.
